🍁It's My Favorite Time of Year... Growth Awareness Week!

Hey parents! Did you know there’s actually a whole week dedicated to kids’ growth?

This year, Children’s Growth Awareness Week is September 14–20, and it’s not just a nice idea. Back in 2014, the U.S. Senate officially approved it. Which means even at the highest levels, people agree: growth is important, and parents aren’t “overreacting” when they notice something seems off.

For so many moms and dads, questions about height and growth can feel isolating. You wonder if your child is growing “normally,” or if you’re the only one stressing about it. Here’s the truth: you are far from alone. There are millions of families navigating the same worries, often quietly and bravely. But Growth Awareness Week is proof that your instincts matter and your concerns are valid.

And the best part? It’s also a chance to come together as a community. Growth is about so much more than inches on a chart. It’s about health, confidence, and the future our kids carry with them.

How You Can Join In

Want to help spread the word this week? Here are a few easy ways:

Change your profile picture or cover photo to the Growth Awareness ribbon or banner.

Share posts using the hashtags #ChildGrowthAwareness, #MoreThanHeight, and #MAGICFoundation.

Join the fun by downloading the coloring sheet from the MAGIC Foundation, have your kids color it, and post a picture online.

Every share and every conversation makes a difference. Because while kids only have a short time to grow, they have a lifetime to live with the results.
